Construction Simulator Year 2 Season Pass is available now – but you’ll have to wait for the content!

Love a bit of Construction Simulator? You’re in luck, because Year 2 Season Pass is promising a ton of new content. You can buy it now too – it’s just you’ll be left waiting a while for the content to actually arrive. 

Year 2 of Construction Simulator content

We’re not really sure what’s going on with Construction Simulator Year 2 Season Pass. I mean, why provide access and allow purchasing of a Season Pass, when the content it includes isn’t available for weeks, and months, in the future. Someone get into the comments and let us know. 

Whatever, if you fancy getting involved, are ready to splash the cash now, and can hold out for a hero/content drop further down the line, then Construction Simulator Year 2 Season Pass could well be for you. Remember, you’ll need the base game of Construction Simulator in order for the new content to be of use. But we quite liked that Construction Simulator base game when we reviewed it on Xbox. 

So what do you get for your cash? If you splash out right now, paying up the £20.99 requested, then you’ll find little to get excited by. In fact, you’ll only be provided with a free piece of DLC as some kind of peace offering – the exclusive Year 2 Season Pass Pickup Truck. 

New content? When?

From there, expect to wait for the rest to drop further down the line. It’ll be approximately Q2 of 2024 when the Liebherr Pack will add new machines, and roughly a similar time for the new campaign that takes us to exciting new European maps. 

Q4 2024 sees the arrival of 6 further machines, whilst Q1 2025 adds in a new cosmetic pack and another machine pack. Remember, all these windows are approximate.

You’ll find the Construction Simulator Year 2 Season Pass available on the Xbox Store. From there, utilise it with the base game on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. 

It’s also on PlayStation and PC. 

And if you’ve not yet played Construction Simulator, hold tight for the Gold Edition of the game. That launches April 4th 2024 bundling together the base game, all Year 1 Season Pass content and the Kramer Pack. It promises to be the construction game of your dreams.
