Looking for a new game on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch or PC, that’s both original and innovative? Then stop what you’re doing and get grooving alongside a dancing agent of Death in the latest game from Daedalic Entertainment and independent developer Kong Orange, Felix The Reaper.
Felix The Reaper is a romantic comedy that just so happens to be a 3D puzzle game too, with players – controlling Felix – required by the Ministry of Death to alter events in order to end the lives of humans. Like all good reapers though, our Felix can only move in the shadows; fortunately he possesses the ability to change the direction of the sun and move objects in a snap to enable safe passages to be created through increasingly devilish scenarios. He does whatever is necessary to ensure people die according to the ministerial plans.
As each destiny is fulfilled, Felix hopes to get one step closer to Betty the Maiden from the Ministry of Life – his one true love who he wants to dazzles with his dance moves and death-dealing successes. It’s an eccentric, yet surprising adventure featuring original music from a whole host of independent musicians, as well as a rather intricate in-game database focusing on the art and general representation of Death throughout history.
You can show off your smooth puzzle solving moves by grabbing Felix The Reaper from the Xbox Store for £20.99, or via the respective digital store of your chosen platform. It’s worth remembering that Felix The Reaper has launched straight into Xbox Game Pass, so if you’re a subscriber then it won’t cost a penny to download.

Game Description:
Felix works at The Ministry of Death and is in love with Betty The Maiden from The Ministry of Life. He believes that going to the human world as a field reaper will enable him to one day meet her. Hence he’s taken the job of making sure people die and taught himself to dance to impress Betty. Since Felix only moves in the shadows, he needs to manipulate those shadows to move around. Luckily reapers like Felix are able to turn the sun and move shadowing objects, which enables him to create the necessary shadow paths to get around. He does so to solve the adventure plots, which makes people die according to the ministerial plans. Each level unlocks a hardcore version of itself for the striving ministerial achiever. You can also collect skull achievements, that further unlock bonus time trials for the extremely resourceful ministerial employee.
