How are your reflexes? Are they on-point? Could they do with sharpening up? OkunoKA Madness is here to ensure that they are kept right on the line.

Available to purchase and download this very minute on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC, OkunoKA Madness sees the original OkunoKA experience evolve slightly, adding in some addition madness, speedrunning opportunities aplenty and the chance to join KA in the hope that you can save his world of all evil.

Priced at £12.49, OkunoKA Madness works just like any other platformer – run, jump, dash, jump, dash again, jump again – pretty much until your fingers start to bleed as the difficulty and intensity begin to take hold. With more than 100 levels to embark upon, and many bosses to go up against, the test in OkunoKA Madness is real – especially when you begin to make it to the newest addition – the Madness world. And yep, it does as the name suggests.

To keep things fresh OkunoKA Madness provides you with access to a number of unique characters, all letting you get involved in the masocore styled gameplay in some wonderful ways. Throw in the inclusion of three different speedrun modes – all worlds, single level and custom – and the test of leaderboards to work with, and there is much to involve yourself with in OkunoKA Madness.

Our full review of the game on Xbox One will be with you as soon as possible – maybe even by the time you’re reading this – but for now should you wish to know more feel free to take in our hands-on previewing the insanity piece. It should give you a good idea of what to expect.

If you’re then sold, the Xbox Store – or those for PS4, Nintendo Switch or PC – will sort you out with the usual download. Let us know if you decide to give it a shot.

Game Description:

OkunoKA Madness is a platform game in which you play as KA, a blue-coloured hero who must save the world of souls from the evil hands of Os, his deadly enemy. You will have to jump, run and overcome obstacles through unique and colourful worlds with more than 100 levels, go head-to-head with wacky bosses, find hidden secrets, lots of surprises to unlock and an even more difficult world: Madness!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
