The Legend of the Dragonflame Highschool Collection Xbox

Whilst we don’t condone violence at school here at TheXboxHub, when the learning establishment actively encourages it, who are we to stand in the way? The double whammy of games found in The Legend of the Dragonflame Highschool Collection out today on Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation is chock full of beat ‘em up action.

The action takes place across two titles, conveniently named The Legend of the Dragonflame Highschool Part 1 and 2. In the first instalment, you are on a mission to rescue your sister, and anyone that stands in your way will be getting punched and kicked out of it. During the second game, a school trip to Osaka causes all hell to break loose. How will you respond? By once again kicking and punching anyone or anything that dares to make the same mistake.

You can increase your stats by collecting the money dropped by enemies and spending it on a variety of food. Each option will improve your various stats until you are essentially a walking tank.

Other features include:

  • 2D Beat ‘Em Up game inspired by arcade classics
  • Both The Legend of the Dragonflame Highschool 1 & 2 included
  • Character development elements including experience and skills

And despite this being a two-for-one offering, it is still a Ratalaika Games offering and we all know what that means? Still some very easy Gamerscore despite there being two games in this collection.

The Legend of the Dragonflame Highschool Collection is on the Xbox Store now priced at £4.99. As is also usual for Ratalaika titles, there is an introductory discount reducing the price down to £3.99 for a limited period. And if you still aren’t convinced by this cheap price, our review will have all the answers you need soon. For now, let us know who you had a fight with in school in the comments below.

Game description

Master the street fighting skills of jumping, punching, kicking, and dodging to defeat your enemies and advance to the next level. You can throw away items, buy food and learn new powerful special attacks. Develop your character to enhance your profile as a martial arts champion. You can also use punches and kicks to send trash cans and soccer balls flying and hitting enemies. In the first installment, you will start a journey to rescue your sister. In the second installment of the series picks up the suspense from the end of the first game, and takes the adventure to the next chapter of the beatdown, this time during a school trip to Osaka.
