The Sims 4 cashgrab continues with the latest add-on for the game, but rather than make the game even bigger, the Tiny Living Expansion Pack is all about downsizing.

Releasing today – which also happens to be The Sims 20th anniversary – the Tiny Living expansion follows previous expansions such as Cats and Dogs, Get Famous and perhaps most closely the Island Living. Where the ecological living for Sims kicked off in Island Living, the Tiny Living DLC brings that to a whole new level… just on a much smaller scale.

Tiny Living challenges players to create a lot in a much smaller size of only 100 tiles, but being able to do so brings a lot of perks. Reduced bills and closer spaces for relationships to bloom, but then you have more room to build a bigger garden.

It isn’t all about just a smaller exterior however. And having a smaller house means the indoor needs to shrink down also. Luckily, the new expansion introduces murphy beds; those cool beds that fold back up into the wall. And when it is folded up it acts as a combo unit for a bookshelf, TV or even a stereo.

Sims can even celebrate their new Tiny Living lifestyle with brand new Create-a-Sim items. Chunky knitwear, dress-shirt and turtlenecks to really show off your new low-key life.

The Sims 4 Tiny Living Expansion is available right now on Xbox One, priced at ÂŁ9.99 – with a bit of a discount available to EA Access subscribers. What better way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Sims with a new boatload of in-game items? Let us know in the comments if you are still creating live in The Sims 4!
