If you’re down with the Dragon Ball scene then the upcoming release of the action-RPG that is Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is one that you are probably hotly anticipating. Well, it’s time to get excited for Bandai Namco have today confirmed the release date.

Coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 17th January 2020, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot promises to be the most expansive, most in-depth, most accurate telling of the life of Goku yet. Kakarot will take players through their favourite Dragon Ball Z story arcs, given the opportunity to meet beloved friends, take the battle to some of the most powerful enemies, and bring additional light to the longest-running Dragon Ball Z mysteries

Bandai Namco promise that no other game will have told this story in such detail and with such vivid presentation, and so should you be a Dragon Ball fan, you’ll most certainly want to be putting that 17th Jan release date of Kakarot in your diaries.

Further to that though it has been officially confirmed that the Buu arc will be included in the game. This will see players able to experience the entire Dragon Ball Z story from launch, taking control of characters from across each saga – you know, the likes of Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo and many other supporting characters.

You’ll be able to find Standard (£49.99), Deluxe (£64.99), Ultimate (£74.99), and Collector’s Editions ready to roll, with pre-order bonuses attached including early access to Bonyu’s training, a new cooking item and a nice little sub-quest. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
