For those of you found outside of the USA, the World of Outlaws series are two sets of dirt track racing events that throw up more dust than the start of a zombie apocalypse. And now they are here in gaming form, giving humble gamers the opportunity to top even more racing leaderboards in World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing on Xbox and PlayStation. .

Releasing onto Xbox and PlayStation platforms, World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing is the official game for both the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. Developed by Monster Games, as their first title under the iRacing acquisition, World of Outlaws grants you many opportunities to become the ultimate dirt racing champion.

Across more than forty different tracks, the first port of call is likely the Career Mode, in which you upgrade your cars, build your own team and flesh-out your racing facilities as you tour the country, hopefully taking home trophies along the way. See if you can take home the championship in each of the six series included, from the premier World of Outlaws NOS Energy Sprint Cars and CASE Construction Equipment Late Models, to the DIRTcar classes also thrown in for good measure. It’s enough content to rival even the likes of F1 22

World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing, being the official title behind the real-life sport, will also contain a number of drivers that fans of the action will recognise. Each will be faithfully recreated given the updated AI systems that ensure each race will be tense, and accurate to the sheer terror one would experience in a death-cage hooning it round a dirt track. Prepare to face off against the likes of David Gravel, Kasey Kahne, and Brock Zearfoss.

Whilst the AI will give a good test, there’s nought better than the real thing. World of Outlaws also caters for a whopping twenty-five players in the online mode – now that’s a real challenge!

If you wish to get in on the action, then all you need to do is head on down to the Xbox Store, or the equivalent PlayStation marketplace. We have the Standard Edition of the game, costing £49.99, or for £66.99 you can get yourself the Season Pass content for World of Outlaws thrown in by way of the coveted Gold Edition.

That Season Pass runs at a £24.99 individual option should you so wish, adding in all the DLC that is promised this side of the conclusion of 2022 – new tracks and series’ basically. You can also go and grab the £4.19 drop of the Limaland Track Pack should you not be able to roll to the full Season Pass.

Game Description:

I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.
