We thought that Minecraft: Story Mode was going to come to an end months ago, until that was Telltale Games decided to throw an extra three episodes into the mix. Now though, the final one really is nearly here…in fact, it’ll be here before you know it!
Announced today, Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Games Series – Episode 8: ‘A Journey’s End?’ (now that’s a bit of a mouthful) will arrive on the usual formats come Sept 13th 2016. That means whether you’ve been playing the game on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, PC , iOS, Android or via the ever amazing Amazon Appstore, your journey will soon be coming to an end.
In Episode 8: ‘A Journey’s End?’, with Harper leading them to the world of the Old Builders, Jesse and crew finally have their chance to return home… but it won’t be easy, and the stakes are high. You’ll need to take on opponents in a series of gladiatorial games to win your freedom, save your friends, and maybe, just maybe, make it back to your own world!
The all-star cast gets two more new additions for this episode, with Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh, Darkwing Duck) as Hadrian, the leader of the Old Builders; and Kari Wahlgren (Rick and Morty, The Fairly OddParents) as Mevia, the Enforcer.
To get involved, you need to purchase the Adventure Pass pack from the usual stores and would also need to already own either Episode 1 or the Season Pass disc as well.
Minecraft: Story Mode has been a fairly decent little run through so far but will it end on a high? You’ll have to wait for our review.
