Ubisoft love a collaboration and for Far Cry 5 they are delivering a rather nifty looking Mondo Limited Edition that comes with a fabulous SteelBook and vinyl record. Want the details?
The Far Cry 5 x Mondo Edition brings together the base game (and we all know that’s going to be a stunner in itself), and a unique set of artwork inspired by the Project at Eden’s Gate. It is now available for pre-order exclusively on the Ubisoft Store for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
In order to create this, Ubisoft has teamed up with Mondo, a collective of artists famous for their unique graphic take on movie poster art, to create an exclusive collection which includes art pieces that highlights the deviously captivating power that Joseph Seed and the Project at Eden’s Gate hold.
The Far Cry 5 x Mondo Edition also includes:
- Far Cry 5 Standard Game
- A unique, exclusive and limited SteelBook X Mondo designed by Jay Shaw, Creative Director of Mondo
- A vinyl record, featuring Far Cry 5 original soundtrack
- A code to download the digital version of the vinyl tracks
- A unique box featuring Mondo drawing of FC5 villain
For Mondo, this capsule collection with Ubisoft was an exciting challenge. “Over the years, we have done pretty much everything related with film collectibles and this collaboration represents the next step: with gaming you’re lot more open, to interpret. It’s a bigger story,” said Jay Shaw, Creative Director of Mondo. “We are very happy to collaborate with an extraordinarily creative company like Ubisoft!”
You’ll find that the Far Cry 5 Mondo edition is limited to 4000 units worldwide and is already available for pre-order for consoles and PC exclusively on the Ubisoft Store. It’s not a bad price either!
Should you be tempted, then those who pre-order the Far Cry 5 by Mondo capsule edition, will receive the unique Doomsday Prepper Pack and the Chaos Pack, which include a set of cosmetic and consumable items to be used as players lead the resistance against The Project at Eden’s Gate.
Far Cry 5 is due to hit Xbox One, PS4 and PC come March 27th 2018. Offering the total freedom that we have come to know and love about Far Cry, we’ll get the chance to navigate a serene-looking yet deeply twisted world as the new junior deputy of fictional Hope County, Montana.
