Trash Quest Xbox

For any game involving collecting rubbish – or trash for those across the pond – there is only one animal up to the job. That’s right, the old trash panda itself, the raccoon! Trapped on a space station, can you navigate this little raccoon to the piles and piles of trash? I mean, treasure. Trash Quest is available now on Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

In Trash Quest, take your cute little raccoon through this 2D platform adventure through this space station. The space station Deliverance is on a long journey, so the AI has been activated to make sure nothing goes wrong. This AI means all the security systems have been activated and will stop at nothing to kill the raccoon, but the raccoon is less than interested. The poor little thing just wants the trash.

This raccoon is far more likely to behave like a traditional raccoon, diving through piles of rubbish for treasure. Not unlike the raccoon in Backbone that helped solve mysteries.

Trash Quest promises challenging gameplay as you travel through the interconnected areas of the space station. There will be obstacles and projectiles to avoid, robots to defeat and more. Use your newly acquired power-ups or discover shortcuts to give yourself the upper hand.

A roguelike save system will only increase the difficulty of Trash Quest. Let’s hope all that treasure is worth it.

Trash Quest is available to download now from the Xbox Store priced at £7.49. Grab it early and you can get it cheaper at just £5.99. And stay tuned for a review coming soon, once we’ve washed off all this bin juice out of our hair.

Game description

SPACE VOYAGE Trash Quest is set on the space station Deliverance. The crew has just begun preparations for the long voyage to Tau Ceti. The AI has been activated, and it’s performing a quick system check. FEARLESS RACCOON You play as a raccoon that has no interest in the fancy defense systems, a raccoon that only wants to get its filthy hands on the station’s trash. CHALLENGING FIGHTS Explore an interconnected maze of space station’s rooms as you destroy robots, collect power-ups and unlock shortcuts. With each level completed, the difficulty of fighting with enemies increases. SINGLE SPAWN SPOT The progress saves automatically. Everytime you die, you reappear in one single spawn spot. But any power-ups, abilities, or shortcuts you’ve unlocked will remain.
