When a teenage girl named Sophie goes missing, you’ll take on the role of her doting father Dr. Goodfall in a bid to locate her. It’s of utmost importance in this single player adventure to reach Sophie before the corrupted Kauil and the associated horrors do. That’s the narrative of Kauil’s Treasure, with Dr. Goodfall ready to do whatever is necessary to track down the most precious thing in his life.
Armed with a mere whip, Dr. Goodfall will have to overcome difficult puzzles, avoid ghoulish souls at all costs and traverse across hazardous environments. The various dangers feature bubbling lava, swinging blades, falling platforms, and more. His skills are fairly basic but he can move around, jump about, use that whip to activate mechanisms and make it to places that would otherwise be inaccessible. Additionally, some objects are able to be picked up, dropped, thrown, and even burnt if deemed imperative to do so.
The race is on to find the young girl in Kauil’s Treasure, so don’t delay and make your way to the Xbox Store swiftly if you’re interested in saving the day. Given that it’s super cheap at £4.99, you shouldn’t need to have a whip-round to get involved. Better yet, there’s a two week post-launch discount in place, bringing it down further to £4.24!

Thus, you’ll have to solve the hardest puzzles, avoid the rotten souls corrupted by Kauil, and use your whip to get to the most dangerous places and save your daughter. Do you have what it takes to find the most important treasure of your life? Dr. Goodfall’s skills include moving and jumping around, using his whip to get to other places and activating some mechanisms. He can also pick up, drop, throw and burn certain objects. During the game, your main objective will be to find the way to the next level. For this, you’ll have to solve puzzles and use your whip. Your final objective is finding your daughter before it’s too late.
