There’s a selection of new content coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ for free and some of it is live already, so would you like to know exactly what’s arrived and is now here to enhance your fighting experience?
The first new feature of the latest update is the introduction of FighterZ Tournament, which is a new online tournament mode with several new match rules to adhere to, culminating in a final 8-player bracket. These special rules could see you needing to use a specific character or limiting the fight to a simple 1v1 battle, to name just a few. The winners and runners-up in each tournament will receive special rewards and Z Trophies, which players can then display in their new Z Trophy Room – the second part of the free update.
The Z Trophy Room is unique to each player and over time they will gain Z Trophies that can be showcased in their Z Trophy Rooms, as well as with their Lobby Avatars and more. Players can then visit the Z Trophy Rooms of others or invite their friends to show off their own well-earned collections.
Apart from a number of gameplay adjustments and fixes, that’s everything involved in the latest update, but yet another update is due to arrive on 5th December, 2018. It will feature a variety of new festive themed avatars and colour variations; characters including Vegeta, Trunks, Tien and Android 18 will have Santa Claus themed avatars, with Krillin and Buu dressed as a reindeer and snowman respectively. A new Christmas colour set, featuring red, green and gold, will also be available for all characters – bringing that holiday spirit to this Dragon Ball world.
These Dragon Ball FighterZ updates are free for everyone on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
