Get High On Knife!

When High On Life released as a Christmas treat at the back end of 2022, we found a game that was full of new ideas, and some serious fun. But standing out above everything else was the joy of utilising weapons that would talk back, injecting even more humour. It’s with that in which we get to the new High On Knife DLC for High On Life.

New comedic content

Available right now for High On Life players to embrace is the new High On Knife content. As you would expect to hear, this one focuses on the much loved Knifey and his mates, as he gets the chance to not just shine, but to make a decent stab at a full-on expansion.

What this means is you’ll discover a new environment full of characters, hazards and surprises, as Knifey urges you on. It’s probably in the addition of a pair of brand-new talking gun characters, in which the real joy will come. Harper, voiced by Sarah Sherman (Saturday Night Live), is an ex-military pistol who’s trying to come to terms with her traumatic past. And then there‘s B.A.L.L., a pinball-inspired gun operated by a coordinated group of little guys who are doing their best.

Further, players will get to explore a creepy new sci-fi setting while being hunted by Mux, a mysterious new boss voiced by the incomparable Gabourey Sidibe (American Horror Story, Precious).

Buy High On Life: High On Knife now!

High On Life: High On Knife is available right now as a £12.49 add-on to the base game; a base game that is still present and correct on Xbox and PC via Game Pass. There’s also the High On Life DLC Bundle to consider too. This takes that base game and adds in the High On Knife DLC, all for a cost of £41.74. Feels a bit of a push when you consider the draw of a Game Pass download, but make of it what you will.

Our full review of High On Life: High On Knife is incoming.
