Promenade is a beautiful 2D action platformer collectathon that is out now on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC.
In a world resembling a children’s storybook brought to life, and drawing inspiration from numerous works such as Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and Little Nemo, players assume the role of a young boy tasked with a monumental mission: to repair the Great Elevator, a lift between worlds.
The once-turning cogs of this magical contraption have been split and scattered far and wide by an evil squid-like creature.
Travel the world with your poulp companion
But fear not, for you will not be alone in this adventure.
Accompanied by your trusty sidekick, a charming pink poulp (octopus), whose adept skill at grabbing onto things proves invaluable in your quest. While your jumping abilities may be limited, your ability to roll, pick up objects, and toss them away comes in handy as you navigate through Promenade.
From simple to deviously tricky, the cog pieces are scattered across the land, each presenting its own challenge to obtain. Keep an eye out for mysterious glowing rectangles, expanding your scrapbook and providing clues on the whereabouts of each cog piece.
But the journey doesn’t end there. Venturing through large golden door frames, you’ll encounter “trials” set in peculiar realms, each centered around a specific theme. From navigating through ziplines to racing against the clock, these trials offer an additional challenge and the chance to earn extra cog pieces.

As you collect the lost cogs and repair the Great Elevator, unlock new levels and areas to explore. Each cog recovered brings you one step closer to restoring balance to the world. And that’s the plan, in this enchanting game directly inspired by classic 3D platformers like Super Mario 64.
