Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart Xbox

Not to sound contradictory, but the majority of kart racers are kid-friendly. The odd couple though – such as South Park Rally and the unlockable one for Mortal Kombat: Armageddon – definitely are not suitable. And one with a huge dinosaur skulking around the track attempting to eat you may not sound like one either, but for those that do not know, it is based on a kids cartoon. So, we’re all safe here. Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart is out today on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

All your favourites from the Gigantosaurus cartoon are here, including the big guy himself. What out as you drive around 15 tracks for Gigantosaurus getting in your way and just generally being a bit of a nuisance. Mind you, with up to four-player local multiplayer, it sounds like family and friends will be nuisances too!

The world of Cretecia will be full of roaring dinosaurs and roaring engines as you tear around the island. Avoid the lava eruptions or pick-up a power-up to give yourself the edge over your opponents.

Nick Ricks, Head of Games at Outright Games said, ‘We’re thrilled to celebrate the release of our second Gigantosaurus collaboration – Gigantosarus: Dino Kart – with our friends at Cyber Group Studios. We wanted to build on the well-received racing segments from Gigantosaurus: The Game, as well as adding accessibility features for the brand’s first kart racer. With the inclusion of auto steering karts, instant race mode and racing tips that can be read from the screen or heard via VO, we have ensured the game is fully accessible to the brands core target audience and will provide a suitable challenge for players of all ages. With the individualised karts and power-ups, tailored to each distinctive character, fans can enjoy a whole new immersive way to experience the world of Gigantosaurus.

With eight characters to choose from, you are sure to find your favourites including Bill, Mazu, Rocky and Tiny. Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart is on the Xbox Store now priced at £34.99. We will have our review coming very soon, so stay tuned.
