With more than a million Xbox One consoles sold within it’s first 24 hours, it was inevitable that there would be issues with a few of them.
And with some users experiencing dodgy disc drives, Microsoft have responded with the offer of a free digital download of either Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome or Zoo Tycoon.
Microsoft had this to say “While a replacement console is on its way, we want to ensure our advance exchange customers can stay in the game. We will provide each of them with a free digital download of one of the launch titles published by Microsoft Studios.”
Whilst a free game doesn’t quite make up for the disappointment of seeing a non-working launch console, it is at least a small way of saying ‘sorry’!
