Head to Beverly Hills with the Rocksmith Weezer Song Pack II

Living in Beverly Hills, rolling like a celebrity, is the place where many want to be, and thanks to the latest Rocksmith DLC pack, that’s exactly where a whole host of guitar superstars will be heading.

Available to add into the entire Rocksmith experience right this very moment is the latest song pack focusing firmly on Weezer. After first seeing the band rock up into the library way back in 2014, with an offering that featured the stunning Buddy Holly, guitarists across the land are now able to start learning more of the band’s tunes, with the equally as good Beverly Hills headlining the show.

Complete with a £6.69 price tag in tow, the Rocksmith Weezer Song Pack II is a triple pack of some of the better known Weezer tunes, with the following all included…

  • Beverly Hills
  • Perfect Situation
  • Pork and Beans

Should you have been around the Rocksmith scene for some time – perhaps picking up last week’s Pat Benatar pack, or one of the recent Advanced Exercises for instance – then you’ll also be aware of the fact that each of the three tunes listed is available to pick up individually too. These come in at £2.49 each, but provide an excellent way of adding tunes to the Rocksmith library without breaking the bank.

That said, our preferred option – at least with the song packs that are the most appealing like this one – is to just go all out and take down the entire song pack. In order to do that the usual digital stores will need to be taken in, with the Xbox Store providing the goods for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 rockers, and the PlayStation Store doing similar business for PS3 and PS4 players.

If you haven’t yet found yourself involved with the world of Rocksmith but have always fancied learning the way of the axe then you could do a whole ton worse than to check out either Rocksmith 2014 Edition or the latter Rocksmith Remastered. They promise to be the fastest way to learn guitar, and as we mention in our full review of the game on Xbox, we tend to agree with that statement.

Let us know what you think about this latest set of DLC and whether the draw of Weezer is a big enough one to see your library expand. The comments section is down below and waiting for your thoughts.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
