It’s not just the horses that need your attention in The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion

We’re beginning to think that the lives of our Sims are better than our own, with a host of opportunities awaiting them. The latest option for those living in The Sims 4 is that of ranch life, all thanks to the Horse Ranch Expansion.

Available today for The Sims 4 players to add into their game is the Horse Ranch Expansion. Priced at £34.99 from the Xbox Store, this introduces a number of new elements to the base game – with our horsey friends front and centre.

Raise your steeds

A new community in The Sims 4 awaits with the Horse Ranch Expansion as you get to raise and train a full stable of steeds. Creating bonds with your favourite horses is the main thrust of this expansion, but there’s a ton more going on too. Mini sheep can also be your friends, as can mini goats. Or if you would prefer, taking time to tease some bees will be sure to deliver some homemade Nectar.

Working the stables should allow for the good life in The Sims 4. But the Horse Ranch Expansion lets you play just as hard. A guitar will let you make sweet music, whilst a rocking chair ensures you can kick back when the time calls. There’s a whole community awaiting in this Horse Ranch too.

The key features of The Sims 4 Horse Rance Expansion include

  • Make a Life — Get up early in the morning, look out at the big open countryside, and know that all your work is worth it. Spend your days keeping your animals happy and clean, harvesting Prairie Grass to feed them, collecting Horse Manure to fertilize your plants, and making your own Nectar to sell. Do it all on a ranch you design, whether that means a traditional cabin or a big red barn.
  • Bond with Animals — Fill your ranch with animal friends and carve out a life together. Your horses – including adorable foals – are part of your household and have lots of special interactions with both Sims and other horses. You can also care for mini goats and mini sheep, and invite neighbors to come see how cute they are.
  • Join a Thriving Community — Living on a ranch has its moments of peace and solitude, but there’s also a lively social scene. Your Sims can go into town to meet friends at the bar, blow off steam at the dance hall, or train at the equestrian park. They can also host events like cookouts and dances on their own property, and hire a ranch hand to help when the work builds up.
  • Raise Horses — Horses are part of the family. Customize hoofed friends in Create a Sim, or get new horses by rescuing or purchasing them. Foals can also be born on your ranch. Sims can learn the Riding skill, and horses can train in the Agility and Jumping skills. Skilled horses and riders can even win awards at the equestrian center.

Head to the Horse Ranch now!

You’ll find the Xbox Store providing access to The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion. You’ll obviously need the base game to hand on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S first though.

Expect to find everything present and correct on PlayStation and PC too.
