Assassin’s Creed has taken us all across the globe – Italy, America, the UK… even China, India and Russia have allowed for the odd rise of the movement. Now though we’re heading to a whole new land, that of Ancient Greece as we embark on an Odyssey.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is now available, at least in Gold and Ultimate Edition form, as we finally get the chance to gear up and become a living legend.

The world of Ancient Greece is a beautiful one and that is never more true than in the vistas you’ll get the chance to take in. From forests to volcanic islands, open plains to busy village hubs, you’ll get the chance to take in the lot with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, uncovering secrets, partaking in conversations and taking on all-comers in a land that is slowly being shaped by both men and gods.

Parkouring across the land is quite obviously par for the course – this is Assassin’s Creed after all – and climbing to new heights, seeking out new areas and evading foes are all things that Odyssey excels in. But there are times when running is frowned upon and taking part in epic battles as the fight between Sparta and Athens ramps up will most certainly be needed.

Drop in the chance to hit the high seas and run through things multiple times in order to discover each and every ending, and your time with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will no doubt be a long one.

The Gold Edition of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is available right now and comes with a hefty £79.99 price tag attached. For that though you’ll get full access to the base game, the additional Secrets of Greece quest, and the rather tasty Season Pass. The latter will ensure your time with Odyssey runs for months down the line with two major new story arcs included along with fully remastered versions of Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed Liberation thrown in for good measure. Oh, and of course you get early access too!

The Ultimate Edition meanwhile brings all that plus the Kronos Pack, the Herald of Dusk Pack and the Capricornus Naval Pack. It’s pricey – at £87.99 – but it really does represent the entire AC Odyssey experience in one neat bundle.

Should you just wish to take in the base game then you’ll need to wait until the 4th October 2018 from which the standard edition will be available for £54.99, or the Deluxe Edition for £62.99. Both allow access to a bonus mission and the latter of them also includes the Kronos Pack (Including 5 epic pieces of armour, 1 epic weapon, 1 epic mount) – The Herald of Dusk Pack (Including 5 rare pieces of armour, 1 rare weapon) – The Capricornus Naval Pack (Including 1 ship design, 1 crew theme) – 1 Temporary XP Boost – 1 Temporary Drachmas Boost, for good measure.

Edit: The Standard and Deluxe Editions of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are now both available. You can also grab the Season Pass as a standalone purchase for £32.79.

If you’ve previously enjoyed the all that Assassin’s Creed has been able to deliver then chances are Odyssey will just be able to build on all that to ensure your journey to Ancient Greece is an unforgettable one.

And now that new adventure awaits. Get yourself over to a digital store now and take in the wonders of AC Odyssey and Ancient Greece.
