F1 24 is coming to Xbox, PlayStation and PC

It’s a big year in the Formula One paddock, as Red Bull and Max Verstappen go for another championship and the others try to catch up. But what about the racing of the virtual world? Well, today EA SPORTS confirm the release date of F1 24, whilst giving racers in F1 23 the chance to get behind the wheel of this year’s cars.

EA and Codemasters have today confirmed that EA SPORTS F1 24 will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC come May 31st 2024. Although as is now standard, if you decide to gain access to the F1 24 Champions Edition, will discover access some three days earlier – May 28th.

Further, the digital-exclusive Champions Edition equips drivers with two new Formula 1 Icons, 18,000 Pitcoin and an F1 World Bumper Pack. That pack features resources for single and multiplayer gameplay events. Better still, all pre-orders come with one bonus VIP Podium Pass. Players pre-ordering the Standard Edition will receive 5,000 Pitcoin and an F1 World Starter Pack.

A new trailer can be viewed below, but alongside that F1 24 release date comes news that should exicte current F1 23 players. See, by pre-ordering F1 24 you’ll find the opportunity to jump into some select Time Trial challenges, as specific all-new 2024 team cars rock up to the party.

As a bonus, players will also receive the McLaren and Alpine 2023 F1 esports liveries, which will seamlessly carry over to F1 24.

“For the first time, our F1 23 players can now connect immediately with the 2024 season with some of their favourite teams ahead of this weekend’s first Lights Out,” said Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters. “Our full reveal is coming soon, and we’re bringing players an overhauled Career mode, a new EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling System, and so much more.”

More EA SPORTS F1 24 details will follow in the coming months. For now, let us know if the new cars being added to F1 23 float your boat.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
