There’s some Bubble Bobble vibes going on with the release of Jack Dragon and the Stone of Peace as it releases on Xbox. At least if you squint a bit and chuck in some Pac-Man as you go.Â
Play as little Jack Dragon
A gem collector in which you play as little Jack Dragon, your task in this little indie platformer from Tea Monster Games is to make your way across a series of screens, grabbing the loot as you go. With Lord Moneybags sitting at the end of things, the rewards for success will be high.
It runs as a bit of a love letter to the arcade titles of the 1980s and 1990s. And that means if you are looking for a hit of nostalgia, you’d do well to check this one out. Include the fact that little Jack Dragon is able to utilise a number of power ups, freezing foes as he goes, and you should well find a fun little arcade romp.Â
Better still? Jack Dragon and the Stone of Peace is available from the Xbox Store for a mere £3.29. That is – frankly – silly cheap money and makes the creation of Tea Monster Games all the more appealing. Throw in simple controls, and this could well be one for the whole family.
