jack dragon and the stone of peace is on xbox

There’s some Bubble Bobble vibes going on with the release of Jack Dragon and the Stone of Peace as it releases on Xbox. At least if you squint a bit and chuck in some Pac-Man as you go.

Play as little Jack Dragon

A gem collector in which you play as little Jack Dragon, your task in this little indie platformer from Tea Monster Games is to make your way across a series of screens, grabbing the loot as you go. With Lord Moneybags sitting at the end of things, the rewards for success will be high.

It runs as a bit of a love letter to the arcade titles of the 1980s and 1990s. And that means if you are looking for a hit of nostalgia, you’d do well to check this one out. Include the fact that little Jack Dragon is able to utilise a number of power ups, freezing foes as he goes, and you should well find a fun little arcade romp.

Better still? Jack Dragon and the Stone of Peace is available from the Xbox Store for a mere £3.29. That is – frankly – silly cheap money and makes the creation of Tea Monster Games all the more appealing. Throw in simple controls, and this could well be one for the whole family.

Jack Dragon and the Stone of Peace on Xbox Game Description

Jack Dragon and the Stone of Peace is a retro love letter to 80s and 90s arcade games. Avoid nasties, jump on platforms, glide around the screen and collect gems! Sounds easy, right?

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
