Fan of the Kingdom series? This summer is looking like being a good one as Raw Fury and Fury Studios look to bring together the coolest of all elements in Kingdom Eighties.
For many it was the 1980s which was the coolest of all eras (and yeah, we grew up in them so very much have a soft spot), but if you’re missing the best cartoons, movies and TV shows, then you’re going to want to keep an eye out for Kingdom Eighties when it releases later this year.
It could be said that the Kingdom series of games is the coolest of indie strategy titles – play Kingdom Two Crowns if you don’t believe us – but very soon that will be expanded further.
See, Raw Fury and the development team at Fury Studios are excited to reveal the newest title of the award-winning Kingdom series: Kingdom Eighties, a story driven love letter to 1980’s Americana. That may not sound much like a ‘Kingdom’ game, but be sure it very much will be.
It’ll focus on a time when the mysterious Greed threatens a small middle-American town, as a rag-tag band of brave kids are dragged into an epic struggle of seemingly insurmountable odds to save their families, their neighborhood and their town.
Kingdom Eighties is a newly developed game within the popular Kingdom series and promises that it will surprise experienced players, newcomers to the series, as well as anyone that remembers sitting around stuffing their face with toast on a Saturday morning in front of the television.
Kingdom Eighties will be released on multiple platforms later this year – we’re hoping and guessing at PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. Agree?
