With the release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 just a matter of weeks away, Activision have today dropped a new behind-the-scenes videos which captures the feel of the sport and shows off its top pros.
The video below entitled “The Skaters Pt. 2” looks at the techniques developer Robomodo is using to capture the look and feel of the sport and its top pros. It also explores the challenges of balancing the classic arcade style of Pro Skater’s legacy with the power of modern consoles.
Rekindling the offbeat style of classic Pro Skater titles, THPS5 features the same OTT focus on objectives, tight controls and that staple of a Pro Skater game…endless shredding! With online sessions with up to 20 players allowing for full jump-in/jump-out action, you’ll get the chance to complete missions, unlock new content and take on challenges with those around the world.
“Activision and Robomodo have really worked closely with the pros to make sure Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 feels true to the original series, and that is obvious when you’re playing,” said Tony Hawk. “There is a great mix of styles and personalities in the game – and it’s a blast to see each skater represented to the last detail.”
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will release on Xbox One and PS4 come 2nd Oct 2015, with a PS3 and Xbox 360 release scheduled for 10th November.
