Over the years, since Thunderful and Megagon Industries launched Lonely Mountains: Downhill, they’ve continued to fill out the game with multiple seasons worth of content. Today they continue that trend, but this time they take the downhill mountain biking scene to places you could only dream off, out of this world with A Bike Odyssey.
Season 12 of the Lonely Mountains: Downhill Daily Rides challenges is here and the countdown is most certainly over as A Bike Odyssey launches. The most out of this world update yet, Daily Rides Season 12: A Bike Odyssey pays tribute to the spacefaring and sci-fi worlds, with new extraterrestrial outfits and awesome accessories.
Should you think that it’s time to suit up and embrace the final frontier, then all you need is a copy of Lonely Mountains: Downhill and the latest update for the game. Seeing as it’s available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S (Xbox Store link is here for you), Nintendo Switch, PS4, PC and is verified for Steam Deck, there’s next to no reason why you shouldn’t be getting involved.
It’s possibly the best time yet too as in Season 12, you can rocket your way to a cool new look with multiple new cosmetic items:
- Gravitate towards a classic astronaut look with the White Space Suit
- Rocket yourself to a new level of style with the Orange Space Suit
- Dress like a rider from the Red Planet with the Martian outfit
- Finish your rides before phoning home with the Extraterrestrial Being outfit
- No one will hear you scream with the new Space Helmet
- Gear up for your space odyssey with one of three backpacks: Oxygen Tanks, Intercom or the Alien Co-Rider backpack
For those not in the know, Daily Rides is a cross-platform daily leaderboard competition, in which each day a trail will be selected randomly, complete with new obstacles and gameplay modifiers. The four week season offers up a new theme with unlockable cosmetic rewards for participants to get involved in. It’s free too.
