Make your bid for freedom in Rattyvity Lab

-

Rattyvity Lab Xbox

On one hand, animal testing in a laboratory setting is a huge no-no. On the other hand, this animal in question has been test on and now has electro-magnetic abilities. And now, he is using them to make his escape from the lab, in order to live out his life as a free animal. A free animal with superhero like abilities. Rattyvity Lab is out today on Xbox.

As SAM the laboratory rat, you have toiled for years being experimented on time and time again. On the plus side – or negative side if polarity puns are your thing – SAM has now been magnetised. With his newfound abilities he can connect the metal boxes found littering his escape route together. Rattyvity Lab looks to put a unique spin on the traditional block pusher mechanic.

These metal boxes all have their own unique abilities too:

  • Common Box: No special abilities. Can be connected with all other boxes.
  • Jump Box: Makes you be able to jump higher.
  • Newton Box: Does not move while connecting with other boxes
  • Anti-gravity Box: Changes the current gravity centre of Sam
  • Magnet Box: When the magnet box is connected with other boxes it becomes airborne

These boxes will be scattered across 20 levels in total. Sometimes they will be blocking the way for SAM, other time you will need them to reach the cheese for a power boost and sometimes you may just want to fling them about. All is possible in Rattyvity Lab.

Rattyvity Lab is on the Xbox Store now priced at £4.19. There is also a small introductory discount, dropping the price down to £3.35 if you are quick to hit the Buy button. And stay tuned, our review will have all the details – and tips for the easy achievements – coming very soon.

Game description

SAM was a laboratory rat, and it has been made experiments on for a long time. As a result of all these experiments, he gains electro-magnetism powers by accident. He unleashes himself from the cage and goes into the rat holes in the wall in order to escape from the laboratory. With his new power, he can connect boxes to one another and uses this to escape and get his freedom. Try to Pass 20 Levels!
