It’s long been known that if you’re looking for a decent motorcycle racer on Xbox One, PS4 or PC, then chances are Milestone would have created it. One of their very best series’ is that of RIDE and today we discover the latest RIDE 4 trailer to emerge from the Italian developers, alongside details of a very lovely Special Edition.
So first things first and RIDE 4 will launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC come October 8th 2020, and should you be interested in taking a look at it, then the RIDE 4 Special Edition for Xbox One and PS4 should certainly be of interest.
You see this Special Edition will feature a Steelbook dedicated to the iconic Yamaha R1 2020, whilst also allowing access to the Season Pass; a Season Pass that will include 65 new bikes, 2 new tracks and 150 new events! If you like bikes, that is most definitely the way to experience RIDE 4.
Here and now though it’s all about the latest trailer, and this one gives a glimpse of the cutting-edge level of visual fidelity the game has reached in both bike and tracks modelling. Created using exclusively the game engine, it shows some incredible bike details that have been perfectly reproduced from their real-life counterparts. The cockpit is a perfect reproduction of the real thing – both in terms of design and dynamic elements – the data on the dashboard changes in real-time, detailing the speed, temperature, traction control and more. Hell, even the oil bottle vibrates according to the movements of the bike.
As you would expect to hear after seeing Milestone deliver the goods with the likes of RIDE 2 and RIDE 3 previously, all bike models in RIDE 4 have been created from the ground up using the most advanced technologies and the original CAD and 3D scans of real models, to bring to life authentic and lifelike replicas of the most iconic motorcycles, even the rarest and most exclusive ones.
Check out the latest trailer below, and let us know your thoughts on it in the comments. We’d also love to hear whether or not you’ll be going all out with that Special Edition. With RIDE 4 featuring a unique gameplay experience, with a completely renewed Career mode in which we’ll get the chance to face fast-paced challenges all over the world that culminate with ultimate Championships with the most powerful Sportbikes, there is much hype about this one. Even more so when you include a brand-new Endurance mode, the hardest challenge that only the best virtual riders can face.
