You may remember the cheap, yet rather addictive, puzzler SiNKR released by Wahler Digital earlier this year. Well, if you enjoyed that, the news that the sequel SiNKR 2 has arrived on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One will be music to your ears. Should that be the case, some might say it’s already reeled you in – hook, line and… SiNKR!

Whether you have played the original, or not, SiNKR 2 looks to deliver an evolved version of the minimalistic puzzle concept and more levels than before. The general aim is to hook various pucks of different shapes into their respective holes by reeling them in – it really is that straightforward. This is achieved through the use of numerous contraptions which allow flipping, rotation and even transportation via portals. There’s no doubt it’s a familiar set-up, however the new layouts and potential for multiple solutions will ensure a fresh problem-solving experience.

If you’re new to the series, fear not as every mechanic in SiNKR 2 is reintroduced with a visual tutorial. It could provide a nice, chilled vibe for you as there’s such an ambient atmosphere to proceedings and no time pressures to rush you through it. So, should you feel ready to jump into the raft of puzzles on offer here, head on over to the Xbox Store where SiNKR 2 is currently priced at a mere £3.35.

Hurry though, because it’ll return to its regular cost of £4.19 in a week’s time and it’d be silly to miss out on the 20% discount!

Game Description:

SiNKR 2 is a minimalist puzzler evolved from the award winning SiNKR. There is just you, hooks, pucks, and various contraptions. SiNKR 2 employs familiar contraptions (square and round holes, kickers, and portals) in new layouts, e.g. spirals; linear and rotational symmetry. Subtle differences within level themes drive different solutions to superficially similar scenarios.

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
