Farming and dating have been mixed in games since the days of Harvest Moon. This latest game however puts a bigger emphasis on the dating aspect in this visual novel. Can you find love in Flower Shop: Summer In Fairbrook, out today on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch?
The latest visual novel to arrive on Xbox from Winter Wolves – those behind other visual novels such as C14 Dating and Roommates – is the latest port from Ratalaika Games.
You play as Steve, who has been shipped off to his uncles’ farm for the summer in a last ditch effort from his dad to learn some responsibility. On the farm, Steve can grow a variety of crops and sell them at the market.
He also has his eyes on the large number of girls that live in Fairbrook. He can choose who to spend time with thanks to his weekly planner. Steve can also choose to spend time on the farm, meeting the girls or maintaining other, more meaningful relationships with the older residents. Other features include:
- Dating sim with farming sim gameplay
- Raise your crops and sell them at the market
- Plan how you spend your time with the weekly scheduler
- Relationship system: each character has a relationship value that affects gameplay
- Total of 9 different endings!
Did we mention this was Ratalaika Games? Another easy 1000G for the achievement hunters out there.
