Back in 2021 Skul became The Hero Slayer. Today that same hero gets access to the new Mythology Pack on Xbox.
Skul: The Hero Slayer is a fast paced action roguelite. A game in which you are encouraged to ‘lose your head’, it dropped onto the Xbox ecosystem back in 2021, all thanks to the teams at Southpaw Games and NEOWIZ.
It went down pretty well too and we found much love in what Skul: The Hero Slayer was able to provide. In fact, we had zero hesitation in recommending it to anyone with even the slightest of interest levels in the genre, dropping a 4.5/5 review score onto it in the process.
New Mythology awaits
Now that same game has been whacked by a piece of DLC – the Mythology Pack. Priced at £3.39, it seems to be pretty high in content to price ratio too, adding in new Skulls, new items and a new Inscription.
If you have the base game of Skul: The Hero Slayer to hand on Xbox (playable on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S), then we think you should be considering a purchase of the Skul: The Hero Slayer – Mythology Pack immediately.
Drop the cash and you’ll be treated to new game add-ons that fit in with the whole mythic theme. It also promises to provide an all-new take on the standard combat experience.

A mythical skull has descended upon Harmonia! This is the first DLC of <Skul: The Hero Slayer>, a story about a special little skeleton, Skul, who fights humans to save the captured demon king. As the name suggests, the Mythic pack consists of add-ons that fit the mythical theme. It will provide you with a completely new combat experience.
