August 2019 saw the announcement of something unique in the gaming world – TUBBZ: Cosplaying Ducks. And even though the initial ranges were deep in variety, we now see Numskull Designs working wonders to bring even more gaming icons to the duck world, with the next phase of TUBBZ covering the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog, DOOM, Resident Evil and more.
Due to arrive around April/May time, wave 2 of the TUBBZ will follow on from the likes of the brilliant Borderlands 3 ducks that previously appeared, pushing on with duck versions of some of the most famous of gaming characters. Covering the biggest video game, movie, TV show, and comic book brands, there is no debating that TUBBZ are fantastically fun collectables that are able to transform all of our favourite characters into duck-style figurines.
The new line-up of TUBBZ will run at the RRP of £12.99(UK) / €14.99(Euro) / $12.99(US) / $24.95(AUD) / $16.99(CAD) each, with them including:
- Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic, Dr. Eggman
- Street Fighter (wave 2): Guile, E. Honda
- DOOM: DOOM Slayer, Imp, Marauder, Hell Knight
- The Last of Us: Ellie, Joel, Tess, The Clicker
- Resident Evil: Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, Chris Redfield
Each of these will work in exactly the same way as the previous TUBBZ; high-quality figurines that have been created to feature individual poses to suit their character, packaged in a stackable box with a unique bathtub-shaped display stand!
