Peachy Boy is a new cute but challenging Xbox puzzler

If cute and challenging is your bag, Peachy Boy is one for you.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Peachy Boy from Weakfish Studios and 909games is the latest puzzler to rock up onto the Xbox world. And whilst this one may seem to be a cutesy little take on the genre, hidden away underneath is a pretty challenging test of the mind.

Priced at £4.19, with a small launch discount in place for a couple of weeks from first release, Peachy Boy looks to be one of those games that could well be perfect for dipping in and out of, as you look for a bit of a mind-bending test before heading on to pastures new.

Your goal is to navigate through the stages thrown your way, picking up a key and making good for the exit. Simple eh? Yeah, well we’ve been gaming for long enough to understand that it’ll be far from that, with multiple obstacles and traps sitting in our way.

We’re not expecting a game of the year contender here, but with Weakfish having already published a few little teasers to the Xbox Store in recent times – the kitten joys of Kattish, the mechanical beats of Mechapunk, the panda based fun of Pandaty – we;d be fairly confident that this follows along a similar path.

A ful review of Peachy Boy on Xbox will be coming your way soon, but for now you’ll do well to hit up the Xbox Store, pay up the cash and get yourself involved in an hour or so of puzzling peachy fun.

Game Description:

This cute looking puzzle game is as hard as it looks cute. Can you beat the challenging 30 levels? Each level is specially designed. You have to collect the key and pass the level, but be careful! Stones and thorns are not very safe. But don’t be afraid of algae. you can hold on to them

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
