Punch and click with Brok the InvestiGator on console

We first heard of Brok the InvestiGator from COWCAT Games back in December 2020, as the team looked to create a rather innovative new gaming experience, one focusing on the need to punch and click. Now finally it’s time to see it all come together, as Brok the InvestiGator launches on console. 

Brok the InvestiGator is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, complementing the previous PC (Steam) drop that occurred some six months back. 

It arrives on console with a £20.99 price tag in tow – at least from the Xbox Store, other store pages and prices may vary) and allows players the chance to join the life of Brok, a private detective who just so happens to be an ex-boxer. 

Brok is a gator too – hence the game name – happily going about his business wandering the cyberpunky world that he frequents. It’s here that humans have been replaced by animals, so Brok fits in nicely. But they are also found living under a protective dome that seals them away from the pollution of the land. 

It is up to you and Brok, along with Graf, the son of his deceased wife, to find a place for themselves in the world, facing up to their own destiny as they go. 

Brok the InvestiGator runs as a punch and click affair, something which will be pretty much new to most gamers. Mixing RPG elements with beat ’em up action, we think there’s going to be a huge appeal in what COWCAT (previously of Riddled Corpses EX and Demon’s Tier) have created. Keep an eye out for our review in the near future.
