the sims 4 desert luxe kit

Now autumn has rolled around, bringing with it the inevitable drizzles and earlier nights, you could be remiss for missing a bit of the summer heat gone by. Well, The Sims 4 Desert Luxe Kit has you sorted right out!

Releasing today on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC platforms, the Desert Luxe Kit adds in a ton of decorative features to deck your house out with.

Inspired by Southwestern decor, expect to be having bright and warm shades aplenty in your humble abode: stone and wood furniture are there for you to produce the ultimate outdoor party vibe, complete with loveseat and fireplace. The fun doesn’t stop at the door though, as inside you can continue the bright colours with curtains and the like, all in an attempt to brighten up the place.

The Sims 4 veterans amongst you may realise that this isn’t the first piece of DLC to drop for the game this month. At the top of September, The Sims 4 First Fits Kit saw you manage to dress your virtual kids up ready for virtual school, I assume to eventually a top virtual job and prop up the virtual economy. Picking up all of the DLCs that the team at EA design really is the best way to experience The Sims 4; the amount of cosmetic items and experiences for your Sims available to the player is really bordering on the level of limitless!

Of course, in order to pick up The Sims 4 Desert Luxe Kit, you must first own a copy of the base game: a game that you can see our review for right here.

The Sims 4 Desert Luxe Kit is available today for Xbox platforms straight from the Xbox Store. Alternatively, the DLC is also present on PS5, PS4 and PC storefronts. The base game is over on those stores too – the Xbox Store link is here for you.

Better still, The Sims 4 will be going free from October 18th on Xbox, PlayStation and PC and so if you’ve purchased the base game prior to that, EA will gift you this Desert Luxe Kit for free then.
