Replace the colour in the surreal Discolored on Xbox

Discolored is a strange, surreal adventure, one which focuses most of its efforts on a roadside diner. Nothing weird about that you may think, but when this diner loses all its colour, it’s up to you to head out to the desolate lands to investigate. 

Previously available on PC via Steam and Apple Arcade, it’s now time for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players to head to the middle of the desert, searching in vain for a solitary roadside diner which is in the grip of the surreal. You see it’s here that locals say has lost its colour, and those hues need returning. 

Priced at £8.39, by downloading Discolored on Xbox you’ll get the opportunity to bring life back to this once vibrant world, bringing together clues as to why the shine has been taken off of this land. With puzzles to take in, and secrets to unveil, this first person explorative affair promises to deliver much. We’ll find out how much, and to how high a quality, once our full review of Discolored on Xbox drops. 

In the meantime if you’re up for a new adventure, one that just so happens to work with some rather brilliantly pared back visuals and haunting soundtrack, putting some time aside for Discolored should certainly be a consideration – even more so when you consider that it has been created by the Godbey Games team to be played in one sitting, with just a couple of hours of play present.
