Restore magical gardens with Gnomes Garden on Xbox One

Back in July 2018 the Xbox world was treated to a magical tale of restoration as the Gnome Princess gathered up a team of would-be helpers to try and save their kingdom and ensure the safety of her loved ones. Yep, Gnomes Garden 3 was the game and whilst it delivered a rather repetitive affair, the super cheap price point meant that it became slightly appealing to a number of gamers. But many more were left bemused at the fact that the third game in the Gnomes Garden series popped up before we had the chance to take in the original game. Fear not though, for Gnomes Garden is now here.

Available right now from the Xbox Store, Gnomes Garden (yep, the original one by the looks of it) is now ready for purchase. Again, this comes with the most super cheap price point of just £3.99 and that in itself should see it being thrust into the lives of Xbox gamers once more.

But what is it? Well, much like the third game, the focus of this original (still with me?) falls firmly on that of a wonderful garden – a Gnome’s garden if you will. But unlike that other game, this time round you need to help the princess repair bridges and throw up buildings, all in order to see the garden restored to its former glory. Failing that, you could always help her check out the odds with the sportsbooks in WV – even in the land of the Gnomes, money making is an essential part of life.

This takes place over no less than 40 levels, all of which ramp up in difficulty as you progress, with a delicate tale holding together this magical world. As you would probably expect, this is a game for all ages and with a simple control scheme and an opening tutorial that sets you along the right garden path, Gnomes Garden should appeal to a decent range of gamers.

To get involved, the Xbox Store should be paid a visit. And don’t forget to check out our review of Gnomes Garden 3 for a little insight into how the whole garden experience works.
