In a move that is sure to delight dentists across the nation, Fruit Adventure on Xbox is set within a lush forest in which chocolate and sugary treats are the villains. As you may suspect, the player is instructed to restore the world to fruity goodness.
Developer Joffre Macedo Neto has us playing as Super Strawberry as he attempts to become the bravest Fruit in the world.Â
Retro Platforming
Releasing right now on Xbox consoles, Fruit Adventure is inspired by retro platformers, such as Super Mario Bros. and Sonic the Hedgehog.
Not only will you be collecting a number of stars in each level, much like the former’s Coins and the latter’s Rings, but each level will have a number of enemies to stomp on. Get involved in some stomping and you’ll find yourself removing them from the game. Such enemies are sugary cakes and other treats – they have no place in this Healthy Forest!
By avoiding spikes, pitfalls and other enemies, you’ll have to platform across each level, ensuring you pick up the key in order to unlock the end goal. Oh, and remember to be fast, so the timer doesn’t run down!
