2026's Best Games

hell warders xbox one

It may not have released in the Fall of 2018 as first promised, but the chance to rise up as one of the mightiest Hell Warders ever known should still be something to involve yourself in – and right now that opportunity can be taken in with the launch of Hell Warders on Xbox One.

Some months after the original launch date was missed, and a good few weeks since the game hit PS4 and Nintendo Switch, we see Hell Warders rising up to beat back the most demonic of hordes on Xbox One.

Promising to deliver an action RPG crossed with tower defense elements, Hell Warders on Xbox One sees you placed in charge of powerful heroes who just so happen to come with devastating skills. It will be up to you to utilise these, all whilst deploying strategic defensive units that promise to help you out. With archers, mages, knights and more in place – all with upgradeable abilities – the resistance should be strong in Hell Warders, no matter whether you go it alone or co-op it up with the 4-player cooperative options available.

A payment of £10.74 to the Xbox Store will see a download of Hell Warders on Xbox One becoming complete, and should you be after an epic RPG/Tower Defense experience, should be found paying it a visit asap. Alternatively, you could always grab it on PS4 or Nintendo Switch too.

Every resident of hell is out to stop you – will they? Let us know in the comments below.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
