Save the world, this time as a red panda in Panda Punch

Panda Punch Xbox

Excuse me whilst I twiddle my moustache and glasses, but I am here to tell you that a red panda is not a panda! They are more associated with raccoon and skunks then actual pandas. And another thing, they tend not to have bionic arms to help them save the world from an alien invasion. But this one does. Panda Punch is out today on Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and PC.

This unnamed red panda can certainly pack a punch! In a world where evil robot aliens have invaded, only a red panda can save the day. I’ll be honest, this world sounds kind of fun, I’d love to visit.

Panda Punch is a 2D platformer where your bionic arm can do a lot more than simply punch a few goons. Use it to jump higher, move large objects and even upgrade it further thanks to the blacksmith. Must be a pretty talented blacksmith to be able to work on bionic arms, but I won’t question it in a world where a panda is wearing it.

Panda Punch also features:

  • Unlockable new abilities for your arm
  • 58 levels with traps, secrets, enemies
  • Classic pixel-art graphics
  • Chiptune sound

Also, did we mention that Panda Punch is ported to consoles by Ratalaika Games? And you all know what that means, don’t you? Very easy achievements!

Panda Punch is on the Xbox Store now priced at ÂŁ4.99. There is an introductory discount dropping the price down to ÂŁ3.99 for a short period. Let us know in the comments if you will be picking this one up.

Game description

Panda Punch is a puzzle platformer game in which you have to control a bionic armed red panda and save the world from evil alien robots. Along the way, you’ll solve puzzles on the levels, collect coins, look for super coins, and increase your abilities with the assistance of the blacksmith. Get ready to defeat intimidating bosses, and obtain innovative new abilities. Featuring 58 levels packed with traps, secrets, and enemies, there is so much to explore and discover. Can you use your skills to help this red panda become a hero?
