Rolling Hills has you making sushi and making friends on Game Pass

The 2020s are most definitely the ‘decade of the cosy game’: we’ve had the latest Animal Crossing release at the top of 2020, the opportunity to explore cute towns in My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock, and now it’s time to get into the culinary business, with Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends on Game Pass. That’s right, it’s a brand new spin on the cosy genre, as you attempt to carve out your own fishy empire, and form relationships along the way!

Sushi Bot, at your Service

Available now on Xbox and PC – Day One to Game Pass subscribers – Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends sees you adopt the role of Sushi Bot, a friendly and lovable little machine that knows one thing, and one thing only – sushi!

Taking over the local sushi shop (not in an evil robots-taking-over-the-world way, but a nice way, actually), Sushi Bot must now produce a range of tasty meals, as you flesh out your recipe book.

As well as serving the eclectic groups of patrons that enter the restaurant, ensuring that their every need is well-met, you’ll have to venture down to the local market to see which new ingredients can be integrated into your dishes. Over time, you’ll grow from just being a sushi-chef, to becoming a well-valued member of this rural society.

Key Features

  • Manage your own restaurant: purchase ingredients, collect new recipes, and decorate the restaurant to make your business a success.
  • Make friends: meet the friendly residents of Rolling Hills, help them grow the town, and forge new friendships along the way.
  • Become a master sushi chef: as you learn the ropes of making sushi, you’ll discover new and more elaborate recipes to delight your guests.

Purchase Now!

Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. If you don’t subscribe to Game Pass, then no worries – you can purchase this one for cold hard cash (£12.49) via the Xbox Store.

Game Description

As a state-of-the-art Sushi Bot, you’ve always dreamed of becoming a world-renowned chef and making your creators proud. As luck would have it, the friendly residents of Rolling Hills are looking for a rising star to take over the local sushi shop—presenting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a one-of-a-kind robot to show the world what you’re made of.

Build your recipe repertoire, purchase the perfect ingredients, and help turn a cozy town into a can’t-miss culinary destination in Rolling Hills, a wholesome blend of life sim and restaurant management game about serving up life’s simple pleasures. Let’s roll!
