sherlock holmes the devils daughter redux

It’s obviously a hugely tough time for the Ukrainian team at Frogwares; a team who have proven themselves over the years as capable developers of multiple Sherlock Holmes titles. Today it’s that team who are delivering a Redux version of Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter to the world.

Originally released back in 2016 on Xbox One and PS4, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter Redux rolls out to the world, taking everything that was great about the original game and ensuring that players coming in fresh to the scene today can also get involved.

It’s priced at ÂŁ35.49 and is the version of The Devil’s Daughter that you need in your life, covering the exact same deal from previously, just now with a Redux badge attached.

Devil’s Daughter whisks us players off to London as we play through the life of Sherlock Holmes, utilising his skills and abilities as you go about exploring the world around you. From there, the usual Sherlock goodies will play out – investigations, interrogations, intrigue, infiltration and interest. We’re not sure there are any more words in the English language which begin with I that Sherlock covers.

There’s combat too, plus a ton of chases through the darkest of neighbourhoods. When you include the fact that your actions and decisions affect your story as things go forward, there’s a tale here that you’ll want to get involved in.

If you’ve played Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter previously, it’s probably well worth a shot giving the Redux version a go. Should you be one of those who have only just found love with the world’s most famous detective through the likes of Sherlock Holmes Chapter One and want to find out more about Devil’s Daughter Redux, fill your boots by heading to the digital store of your choice.

The Xbox Store is ours and it’ll happily sort you out with a download that will work on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Game Description:

Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter is a fantastic adventure with unique gameplay that blends investigation, action and exploration for an extraordinary experience that will test the limits of your nerves and intelligence. Track down evil in the darkest corners of London and the human soul while playing as the great detective, as you untangle a web of intrigue leading to the final stunning revelation. Each of your deductions and actions affects the rest of the story, for better or for worse… Play as Sherlock Holmes and use his extraordinary abilities to progress through the adventure. Freely explore several of the city’s neighbourhoods in search of clues and suspects. Interrogations, combat, chases, infiltration… discover a game that is unlike any other!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
