Having first debuted on PC in late 2021. And then moved onto PlayStation and Switch earlier this year, it is finally time for Xbox players to enjoy the action-packed, chaotic gameplay of Spectrolite – Speed Life.
Neon-Soaked Parkour
In a week that has seen the release of a similar parkour based title – Mr. Run and Jump – Spectrolite could be seen as a first-person take on the reaction-testing platforming genre.
From the word go, you are thrown into a neon-soaked city-scape. From there you are simply instructed to make it to the end of each hand-crafted level. It’s a futuristic cityscape that is not too dissimilar from the moody environments of Ghostrunner.
Each level will see you zipping and dashing across the world, which is littered with a number of platforms to hit, dash pads to contact to enable a boost of momentum, and much more.
Key Features
- Discover large scale hand-crafted levels
- A diverse, original soundtrack
- Tight and precise controls
- Improve your personal records in time trial mode
- Compete in global leaderboards
Challenge the World in Spectrolite on Xbox
It may be the larger levels which are the first port of call for all new players, it is within the smaller time trials where the best players can find a true challenge. These time trials will be accompanied with online leaderboards, as well as ghosts of other players to try and beat.
We can certainly see Spectrolite garnering a large following within the speedrunning community!
