The third series of the hit 80s-inspired fantasy TV show is debuting today, promising fans more adventure, mystery and the occasional fright for their viewing pleasure. Available now on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Switch, Stranger Things 3: The Game brings the retro vibes of the show to the gaming stage, playing out as a nostalgic beat-em-up in crisp old school visuals. Playing as one of 12 iconic characters from the show (such as hardened cop Hopper, mysterious Eleven or happy-go-lucky Dustin), you will have to utilise the unique abilities of each character to fight your way through numerous waves of enemies, solve the odd puzzle or two and make your way through the game.
Teamwork is a huge element of Stranger Things 3: The Game, and buddying up with a friend via two-player local coop may be the way to go to beat the trickier of times found within. By doing so, complementing each other with your own character abilities will also be the key to success.
Of course, being the official companion game, you can expect to be playing through the events of the third series of Stranger Things: perhaps you should play it along with watching the show, or watch the show first.
