In just a few short weeks the winter X Games will be kicking off in Aspen, allowing competitors from around the globe the chance to showcase their ultimate skills. Want to join them? You’ll be able to do just that with the latest Steep DLC.
For the last couple of months the team behind Steep on Xbox One, PS4 and PC have been found delivering a number of X Games themed content packs, building up to the madness of the X Games in Aspen. Well, if you were left wanting more, then today is your lucky day as the Rocket Wings content is finally with us, letting players fly through the air with the greatest of ease.
Available right now for all Steep players to enjoy is the Rocket Wings DLC. Contained within both the Steep X Games Gold Edition, and the Steep X Games Pass, this latest smattering of content lets you soar across the valleys of the Alps and Alaska, taking in 15 new challenges and grabbing no less than 3 exclusive customisations for your Rocket Wings in the process. Fancy yourself as a bit of a high flyer? This is the DLC for you!
As mentioned in our review of the Steep X Games content, it’s disappointing that we’ve had to wait so long for these extra challenges to arrive, and for this to require extra cash over the £7.99 X Games DLC is a bit of a pain, but at least the wait is now over and we can properly crack on with everything that Steep, and the X Games, is able to offer.
This Rocket Wings DLC on Xbox One for Steep is certainly a cheap purchase – the £3.99 required from the Xbox Store won’t be breaking any banks – and so if you are looking for something else from the entire Steep experience, or just want to fully embrace the X Games for what it is, then this should be on your radar.
