Promising the chance for players to dominate the battlefield with super stylish spectacular attacks, Soulstice has been announced for release in 2022 on next-gen consoles and PC.

Coming from publisher Modus Games and Italian developer Reply Game Studios, the highly explosive, high-energy action game Soulstice was unveiled during E3’s PC Gaming Show. With an innovative dual character setup in which you’ll control both characters simultaneously, Soulstice encourages the players to dominate the battlefield, before unleashing spectacular attacks that combine the unique strengths of sisters Briar and Lute.

You can get a look at how that action plays out by checking out the trailer below, before we find Soulstice arriving on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in 2022. if you do watch it, you’ll get to see the sheer power of duo Briar and Lute along with the challenges they’ll face as their world hangs on the brink of collapse.

The Chimeras are hybrid warriors, forged from the union of two souls. They are the only ones who can oppose the Wraiths, ravenous creatures borne of Chaos itself. Both voiced by Stefanie Joosten (Metal Gear Solid V), Briar and Lute are two sisters who were turned into a Chimera: Briar gained superhuman abilities, but Lute was sacrificed to become her Shade, a spirit with mystical powers. When the city of Ilden falls to the invasion of the Wraiths, the two sisters are sent on a mission to reclaim it. Only by utilising the abilities of both characters will players unlock their full potential and stop the invasion before it’s too late.

The sleek, fantasy-inspired world of Soulstice will transport players to places filled with danger and beauty. Thanks to a deep combat system with combos, multiple weapons and many customisation options, Briar and Lute will have an endless array of methods to take down enemies as they explore Ilden, facing new threats around every corner.

The question is, will you be up to the task and ready to face those threats head on? Let us know in the comments.
