Ready for a new KEMCO

KEMCO have tried much over the years, so much so that they’ve recently brought together all their gaming experiences under one huge 50-game bundle. But we’re not sure they’ve ever merged two games into one. It’s that which is the idea as Alphadia I & II releases on Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Nintendo Switch.

A merging of KEMCO adventures

Available right now is Alphadia I & II, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It’s priced at £16.74. You’ll also find the new game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Alphadia I & II sees KEMCO taking the first two titles in the Alphadia series, before merging them together into one captivating adventure. From there, an epic fantasy RPG awaits – as does a highly enchanting world.

We think it’s probably best for us to hand over to the KEMCO overlords in hope of getting a handle on what is present with each game…

Alphadia I

Embark on a compelling journey centered around ‘energi’, a mystical power harnessed from life energy. After a tumultuous conflict known as the Energi War leaves humanity reeling, peace seems restored following a century of reconstruction. However, the Schwarzschild Empire’s declaration of war plunges the world into chaos once more. From the frontier city of Heiland, a new story of resilience and hope unfolds.

Alphadia II

Two centuries have passed since the Energi Crisis thwarted the empire’s ambitions and saved the world from destruction. Yet, the world’s life energy wanes, threatening its very existence. Enah, a heroic figure, establishes the Energi Guild to combat this ominous decline. Although the Guild’s efforts initially bring stability, a resurgence of energi-related ambitions looms in the shadows, signaling a new wave of challenges and adventures.

We’re expecting the usual KEMCO adventures to unfold, as we take on an thrilling journey complete with updated visuals. There’s also promise of a richer, deeper, more thorough narrative with the addition of events that bring the two together.

It also promises to provide the true ending to Alphadia II – although you’ll need to meet specific conditions for that to happen.
