In Botany Manor on Game Pass, Xbox, Switch and PC you’ll get to step into the muddy boots of retired botanist Arabella Greene. Arabella is determined to make her 19th century stately English home into a lush paradise, full of beautiful plants.
As you progress through this first-person title, you will add more and more plants to your collection, through puzzle solving. You see, Arabella has acquired a suite of notes through her career, and by making use of these you’ll be able to ensure your plants flourish. Solving environmental puzzles within the manor and its surrounding grounds will also bestow you additional knowledge.
Visually, you cannot help but be reminded of The Witness, one of our favourite puzzle games of all time. If Botany Manor can replicate The Witness’ magic, even to some degree, you bet it will be onto a winner when it launches in Spring 2024 on Game Pass, Xbox, Switch and PC. You’ll be able to thank Whitethorn Games and developer Balloon Studios for it.
