It’s time to return to Lord Mortimer’s mysterious private island mansion and uncover more secrets, as the third episode of The Council arrives today for Season Pass holders on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
For those that don’t know, The Council is an episodic narrative mystery. Players play as Louis de Richet who travels to a mysterious island after an invitation for Lord Mortimer. The invitation is to take the place of his mother who has disappeared, coincidentally on the island. Louis must uncover the mysteries on the island, all whilst finding his mother.
Episode 3 features more plot than you can shake a stick at with Louis travelling deep underneath the mansion to uncover a secret about the leader of The Council that was up until this point so far-fetched it may have been another game entirely.
Also featuring a load of character development and certain characters reaching the end of their arcs, it may get to a stage where The Council may have no characters left before the final episode. Now that could be interesting!
The Council Episode 3: Ripples is available to download right now for Season Pass holders priced at £23.99. For those who don’t yet have that, it will be available for a standalone purchase on Thursday 26th July priced at £6.39… but you’ll obviously want to play through Episode 1 and Episode 2 first!
