Dare you go inside Sunshine Manor?

You may not want to visit, but the doors to Sunshine Manor are swinging open on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC regardless. Just let it be known that should you go trick or treating at this old manor house, things may take a turn for the worse.

The doors open

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC is Sunshine Manor. Created by Fossil Games and picked up by those at Hound Picked Games, Sunshine Manor promises twists, turns, blood and a ton of mystery.

It’s priced at £6.69 and is sold on the Xbox Store as a ‘spine-chilling retro horror adventure’. With Halloween fast incoming, we’re more than up for such a gaming experience. Better yet, whilst you can play Sunshine Manor on Xbox One, it should really come alive on Xbox Series X|S, where fully optimised goodies await.

Sunshine Manor places you in the shoes of Ada. An adventurer who is a little reluctant to take on any real challenge. But the acceptance of a night in Sunshine Manor is one that they take up anyways. We’re not sure if they were told it was haunted.

The features of Sunshine Manor

From there, expect the ghosts and ghouls to spring to the fore. Demons await at every turn, as do the most blood soaked of horrors. There’s more than an eerie vibe going down in Sunshine Manor. But thanks to the push of multiple characters and challenges, this should be one that ultimately excites.

There’s some neat key features to hand too. Alongside the opportunity to meet the Shadow Man and to navigate through some devious puzzles, all of the following will also be in place in Sunshine Manor…

  • An original 1hr 22m soundtrack written exclusively for the game
  • A dark, involved and outright weird story that builds to the events of the infamous Camp Sunshine massacre!
  • Beautiful hand-drawn 8 bit-esque pixel art
  • Inspired by classic horror movies of the 1980s and beyond.

The download you are looking for is on the Xbox Store – it’s there where you can play Sunshine Manor on Xbox. Alternatively, other digital platforms will also play host to this wicked adventure; PlayStation, PC and Switch, no less.

Keep an eye out for our review of Sunshine Manor on Xbox soon.
