Over the course of the last couple of months, Hot Wheels Unleashed players have had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the wicked world of the DC Super-Villains Racing Season. Well, all good things must come to an end and just as that one door closes, another opens – this time with the SpongeBob Racing Season kicking off.
As the name suggests, the latest Racing Season in Hot Wheels Unleashed is that of SpongeBob. Now, running a completely different tact to that which has come before it, you should expect things bright and beautiful, with plenty of yellow and plenty of undersea action taking place.
Starting right now and running until close of play on March 29th, the SpongeBob Racing Season will give Hot Wheels Unleashed players the chance to enjoy a number of new free and premium content drops, with new challenges attached to them.
Gear, coins, basement and player profiles additions and more are all going to be present, with the main focus entirely sitting on the six themed vehicles that are coming to the party.
In no particular order (except for the fact we’re putting SpongeBob himself front and centre), they will be vehicles focused on all of the following fan favourite characters…

· Sandy Cheeks
· Squidward
· Plankton
· Mr. Krabs
· Patrick

Hot Wheels Unleashed will need to be in your digital library prior to gaining access to this latest Racing Season. You’ll find the base game revving up on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
