Fans of The Wolf Among Us have had to wait a long time for a sequel to the popular 2013 title. Based on the Fables comic book series from Bill Willingham, the original game followed the typical Telltale Games format of players making choices that have an impact on how the game unfolds.
The original was met with critical acclaim, and now a sequel is finally set for release. The Wolf Among Us 2 will take players back to the dark and gritty version of New York that features various characters from folklore.

Since the release of The Wolf Among Us, its influence on the rest of the gaming industry has been noticeable. The game popularised fairy-tale and fantasy themes and featured many characters that are well-known around the world. Now, it’s common to see huge names from folklore in entertainment. Luckily for fans of games from the iconic developer, it was revived by LCG Entertainment, who acquired the rights for The Wolf Among Us.
The Wolf Among Us 2 Should Hit the Xbox This Year
According to PureXbox, The Wolf Among Us 2 is scheduled for a 2023 release, but there has not yet been confirmation about the exact date. It will be available for Xbox One, Series X, and Series S, and a trailer was released showing some of the gameplay and graphics on offer. There’s no doubt that it looks stunning, and there’s a lot to get excited about. There isn’t much information about the story yet, though, as the developers like to keep a few surprises up their sleeves. Cultured Vultures believes that The Wolf Among Us 2 will be released in episodic format in keeping with the usual Telltale Games model. That means that there’s a chance that it could initially drop in the first half of 2023. It’s time to get excited for a return to this unique fantasy world.
